Silver Lane Stud and Baulking Grange are two complementary equestrian establishments situated within three miles of each other on the outskirts of Wantage, Oxfordshire, and both within riding distance of the beautiful and historic Ridgeway route.

Both centres are under the supervision of Sally Colliver (BHSII SM) and Emma Green (UKCC Level 2), and provide a wide range of services for owners and riders of all ages, abilities and aspirations.

Baulking Grange is an ABRS approved equestrian centre, situated on the outskirts of the village of Baulking, between Faringdon and Wantage. In addition to two indoor schools the facilities include a full size outdoor arena and showjumping paddock. The centre is part of a larger arable farm, which offers the added benefit of off-road riding through the cornfields and beside the river which bounds the farmland.

The horses and ponies at Baulking Grange are carefully selected to satisfy riders of all ages and abilities. For the novice rider we offer well mannered ponies and cobs, whilst for the more ambitious or the career student we can provide quality performance horses, several working at advanced levels.

At Baulking Grange we endeavour to provide a safe but challenging environment, where riders are encouraged to enjoy a variety of activities under the guidance of an experienced and qualified team of coaches.

Silver Lane Stud is a livery yard and stud farm, situated in the quiet, peaceful village of West Challow on a 350 acre arable farm, three miles from Wantage. The pastureland is ideal for the production of strong, healthy youngstock, and we are proud of our homebred youngsters, many of whom are destined for competitive careers. We also specialise in the breeding of traditional coloured cobs and half-bred coloureds from TB mares, to produce an all-purpose riding horse.

Silver Lane Stud is within easy reach of both the M4 and the M40 motorways, and located close to many major venues. This ensures a large customer pool for vendors of horses placed with us for sale.
